Extreme Clarity
The glass is coated, so that it reflects 70% of the light projected onto it while allowing the remaining 30% to pass through. This unique characteristic enables the presenter to read the reflected script text clearly, projected from a monitor below or behind the glass, while simultaneously allowing the camera positioned directly behind the glass to record through it without capturing the reflected text.
Wide Range of Camera Compatibility
Three different camera mount bases allow for a large range of different-sized cameras to work. Counterweights can be split, so that the teleprompter can support a 5 lb counterweight or a 2.5 lb counterweight. The base can conveniently slide to adjust the weight without the need to remove the plate.
Quick Setup
The monitor can be quickly attached to the front of the teleprompter via the 15mm rod holder, which is compatible with any system that uses standard 15mm rods.
15" Widescreen Teleprompter Monitor
The native resolution is 1920 x 1080 with a max brightness of 1000 cd/m². The OSD adjustment menu allows adjustment for contrast, brightness, backlight, tint, chroma, and sharpness. You can also adjust the intensity of each RGB color channel. Aspect ratio can be set as 16:9, 4:3, full, or it can be set to automatically detect the aspect ratio and set it accordingly. When plugged into a compatible video switcher, the monitor utilizes a red/green tally light that lets you know when your camera is live.
Image Flip Button
An image flip button allows for both horizontal and vertical flipping of the displayed image. This feature is ideal for presenters who are video conferencing since it enables the presenters to view themselves as if they were looking into a mirror, giving a greater sense of comfort during the video conference or live stream.
Easy to Balance
The teleprompter includes a rail that allows you to easily balance your entire teleprompter setup. You can offset the entire teleprompter setup up to 7".
Built-In Tally Lights for On-Air Status
The monitor features a tally light that illuminates red, green, and yellow. This means that a director can cut between cameras and the tally color will let the on-camera talent know which camera is live. Yellow tally lights are typically used as a way to signal to the talent, crew, and director that a camera is about to go live, and to be ready for the shot. A green tally light is typically used to indicate that a camera is in preview mode. This means that the camera's output is being sent to a monitor, but it is not currently on air. This allows the talent, director, and production crew to check the composition, focus, and other aspects of the shot before it goes live. A red tally light is used to indicate when a camera is live or on air.
Dual Tally Light
A toggle switch allows you to choose which of the two tally lights you would like to use. If you are using the monitor as a script monitor, you would want to use the tally light on the top of the monitor. If you are using an additional (optional) monitor as a talent monitor, you would want to use the front-facing tally light.
Aluminum Chassis
The custom housing is made of aluminum which provides robustness and longevity, protecting the monitor from the wear and tear of regular use. The monitor features bezel-mounted buttons that let you control the menu settings and video inputs.
